The figure stands on the rocks at the edge of the frame, seen in full length and turned in profile, with the horizon running straight behind. The sky does the colouring: blue above, warm cloud low down, and the water picking up both.
It is part of the same evening as Dusk Figure and Blue Hour, and hangs well alongside them.

Shazard R.
Shazard R. is a Toronto photographer with fifteen years of professional work behind the camera, most of it in fashion and editorial. Those years built an eye for light, posture and the moment just before or after a pose.
Away from commissions, Shazard's own work leans cinematic: silhouettes held against the last of the light, portraits that read like stills from a film, and quiet studies of the city and its waterfront. The prints in this collection come from that personal archive, each one made to order and signed by hand.
